Bob Gray is a seasoned promotional and sales professional who has been in the business of selling unique corporate experiences since the early 80’s. He has worked with some of the largest promotional companies in the world, like Idea Man Inc., Jack Nadel Inc., and Wood Associates. Bob’s success is attributed to his passion, drive and his love of collaboration, a recipe required to see his client’s business succeed. He has worked with top national and international brands such as Nike, Bloomberg, CBS, MTV, SONY, Los Angeles Dodgers, and BIG5 Sporting Goods. Additionally, his successful career to date boasts an unprecedented $9.0 million in sales – the biggest order of his career.
He thrives on taking an idea and turning it into a product which delivers tangible and measurable results for his clients. He has gained a reputation for creativity in the industry. Not only are his ideas imaginative but he is said to be a passionate character who won’t rest until he finds and designs the right piece for his clients and their objectives.
Bob continues his journey, bringing over 30 years of expertise and creativity to his role with Brand Via as an Account Executive, where he creates marketing and promotional solutions for hands-on promotional products, more commonly referred to as swag or tzotzkes.
Bob is best known by colleagues and clients for his sense of humor, creativity, and the passion he injects into generating memorable experiences. The role suits him perfectly because it allows him to use his imagination daily. Bob jokes that, after gaining a BS in Human Development and Housing Administration from Penn State University in 1976, “it was a natural path for me to sell pens,” but the solutions he delivers are so much more than corporate giveaways.
Bob is known for his strong work ethic and excellent business relationships. It’s no surprise, then, that he has such trusted and long-standing relationships with his clients and is repeatedly recognized for his creative campaigns. The characteristics that have led to Bob’s professional success carry over on a personal level. He is an active member of his community, serving on the City of El Segundo Economic Development Advisory Council (EDAC) since its inception, having been appointed by the Mayor and City Council to represent small businesses in this community, as well as a passionate advocate of the ETTA Foundation.
Described by people as being a giver, the values of fairness, honesty, and hard-work govern Bob’s decisions. He takes great pride in his profession and accountability for his team and their work. He means what he says, and he says what he means. A proud father of two, he practices compassion and empathy in business and his personal life.
