Matt Tompkins

Matt Tompkins currently supports the Global Partnerships office of the Aerospace Corporation—focusing on commercial outreach and international launch.  For the past 16 years, he has supported the US Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) in all space missions and major sectors to include SATCOM, Space Control, Space Situational Awareness, Weather, Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR), GPS, and Launch.  Most notably, Matt led User Engagement for the creation and adoption of the SMC www.boulderlab.org; discovering and sharing new uses for OPIR data.  Matt is also a Captain in the Air Force Reserve assigned to US Forces Japan working Future Operations at Yokota Air Base.  Locally, Matt is one of the founders of the El Segundo Dads Club, and a member of the El Segundo Economic Development Advisory Council (EDAC) as the chair for Strategic Forward Development.
